										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Angel of the North is now a familiar site in the North East of England.</p>
<p>It was a controversial addition to the North East landscape originally, but i think it is safe to say most people have grown to love it.</p>
<p>It was designed by the world famous Anthony Gormley. Work was started in 1994 and finally completed 4 years later in February 1998.</p>
