In my spare time I like to have a play with photoshop and try to improve my skills.

It has got to the point that i, a once avid gamer; would prefer nothing more than to open up photoshop and get creative.

I have spent many hours watching various people on YouTube such as ‘Benny productions‘ and ‘Phaserunner‘ to gain both inspiration and insite into the process they use. If you have an interest in compositing i certainly recommend you check them out.

I’m certainly no grand master, but that doesn’t make me any less proud of my creations. You can find some of these images in my shop to purchase if you wish.

I chose the alias Pix.el8d for its double meaning. firstly pictures are made up of pixels…..honest! Secondly my art makes me happy hence the elated section.

I find my inspiration in many places. however i may be approaching my middle ages shortly but that doesn’t mean I’m any more grown up than I was 30 years a go. I am generation X through and through so you will find many pop culture references in my work; ranging from games to movies.
